Currently there are no regulatory bodies that govern or certify HACCP compliant Food Safety Plans. Food businesses are simply required to follow and implement HACCP principles in the business through a Food Safety Plan.

Food Safety Plans in Canada are not formally certified, but food businesses must follow HACCP principles to meet regulatory requirements.
